• All entrants must comply with the race rules
  • Entrants must be over 15 years of age on the race day.
  • All applicants under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
  • All entrants are to comply with traffic laws, regulations and the Highway Code and must obey the instructions of the Marshals, Race Officials, Medical Team, and the Police.
  • All runners are requested to maintain single file and keep to the left-hand side of the A342 section and only overtake if and when safe to do so.
  • Entrance to the race is personal to the applicant and race numbers must be transferred by logging onto your Race Nation account or completed by the Race Secretary to which there is a fee of £5.00 to cover administration costs.
  • Any runners competing in another person’s race number will be disqualified.
  • No person is allowed to run the race unless they have officially entered.
  • All entrants must participate in a manner safe to themselves and others.
  • Entrants must not take part unless they are medically fit to run 10k and able to complete the race in 90mins.
  • All entrants enter the race at their own risk.
  • All entrants must be aware of the hazards and respond appropriately.
  • The race organisers will not be held liable for any injury or loss of expense which may arise in consequence of participation in this event.
  • All runners must record personal health and contact details on the return of their race numbers.
  • Entry to the race will not be permitted to anyone showing any Covid related signs or symptoms. The medical team will make any necessary assessments and their decision is final.
  • Race Officials and the Medical Team have the authority to disqualify and remove from the race any runner considered to be acting dangerously or unfit to compete.
  • No headphones (or Buds/Pods) will be permitted to be worn for any part of the race, if seen the runner will be asked to remove. If not removed, then the runner will be disqualified and removed from the race.
  • Runners are required to give assistance to any other runners in signs of distress or struggling. All reports of casualties must be reported to the nearest available Marshal or Medical Team.
  • In the event of injury or illness to yourself please find a Marshal and or wait for the sweep car.
  • No Dogs allowed unless for medical assistance.
  • No pushchairs/buggies permitted in the race for safety reasons.
  • No alcohol or tobacco is permitted at HQ at any other village location used for the race.
  • No following vehicles are permitted unless part of the Race Team or Medical team.
  • The race organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel applications, including duplicate applications, or alter the date, course route or distance of the race.
  • No refunds can be given if you decide not to participate of if the race has to be cancelled due to circumstances outside the race organiser’s control i.e. bad weather.
  • In the event of any dispute the decision of the Race Adjudicator and Race Director will be final.
  • An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
  • The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.
